Poker run will help fund local scholarship
Jay Lamptons life was one to be celebrated. The 45-year-old former Boonville and Folsomville resident was killed in a motorcycle crash July 2, 2006. The accident also severely injured his wife, Lisa. Jay was an avid rider. His newest bike, a Harley, was his pride and joy.

Poker glossary:
- TAPPED [OUT] - Out of money. Can refer to a player running out of money in the course of a hand, thus still active for the main pot; or can refer to a player who has lost his bankroll and can no longer play.
- WALK - A pot won by the last blind when no one opens.
- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- STAND OFF - To call a raise. "Opener raises, I stand off".
- FOLD - To decline to call a bet, thus dropping out of a hand.
- HOUSE RULE - Rules and interpretations (e.g., use of wild cards, or rules on having to show beaten hands) that are specific to an establishment or even tables within the establishment.
