Renton poker advocate bets he’ll win on appeal
A Renton lawyer and state director of the Poker Players Alliance says he’ll appeal the King County Superior Court decision upholding the state ban on Internet gambling.

Poker talk:
- DECLARE - In high/low games, declaring one's hand as high or low or both ways (usually done with chips in hand). Usually played in home games; casinos tend to play CARDS SPEAK.
- FREE CARD - A card dealt after all players checked in a betting round.
- BOARD - The exposed cards in Hold'em and stud. Also BOARD CARDS.
- SET - In Hold'em, three of a kind where two of the cards are hole cards.
- FLAT CALL - To call a bet. Emphasizes that the caller did not raise.
- POSSIBLE [STRAIGHT/FLUSH] - Up cards that quite possibly could lead to a straight and/or a flush.
