Poker Flat residents say vacation rentals bad deal
Noisy renters, and one-way streets jammed with too many parked cars and boat trailers, is taking some of the pleasure out of living on the shores of Tulloch Lake in at least one portion of the Poker Flat subdivision.

- RAINBOW - In flop games, a flop in which no two cards are of the same suit. "The flop was A 9 7 rainbow."
- MISDEAL - A hand dealt incorrectly that must be re-dealt.
- PASS - Opposite of bet. To check, if checked to. To fold, if bet to.
- LATE BLIND - In addition to "regular" blinds, some games allow a player (particularly a new one) to post a blind bet in return for the right to enter the game immediately and act last on the first betting round. The amount of the blind is determined by house rules, usually somewhere between the last blind and double the last blind. It is frequently a LIVE BLIND.
- EDGE - An advantage over an opponent, either specific or subjective.
- FIFTH STREET - In stud poker, the fifth card to be dealt to each player. Sometimes used to refer to the last card dealt in Hold'em, although the more common term for this is RIVER (q.v.).
