Poker After Dark Season Four Over
The hit NBC poker show Poker After Dark has just wrapped up its fourth season and is now in post production. The show, which pits six pro poker players against each other in a No Limit Holdem tournament, requires each player to buy in with $20k of their own money, all of which goes to the winner. There are a few new twists in season four, such as a double elimination heads-up competition with the four winners of NBC’s other poker show, the National Heads-Up Championship, from the last four seasons: Paul Wasicka, Ted Forrest, Chris Ferguson, and Phil Hellmuth.

Poker terminology:
- BLACK - When referring to chips, black usually stands for $100 casino chips. "This guy sits down with a stack of blacks and raises the first bet." Not ALL casinos use black for $100 but that is the common usage.
- HOLE CARDS - In Stud and Hold'em, the face-down cards dealt to each player.
- MAIN POT - The main pot, as related to one or more side pots, when there are one or more all-in player(s). The main pot is the one in which all active players participate.
- FILL - To draw a card that makes a five-card hand (straight, flush, full house, straight flush).
- DRAW OUT - To catch a card that improves your situation from a losing hand to a winning hand, especially when you beat someone holding a hand that usually figures to win.
- RUNNER-RUNNER - A hand made using both of the last two cards dealt.
