19 poker players in SC plead guilty, fined
Nearly 20 people charged in a high-stakes poker game have pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of unlawful gaming and were fined. The Charleston Post and Courier reports that authorities agreed to dismiss additional counts against the 19 players in exchange for the guilty plea. Most have paid fines between $154 and $257.
