Charleston | Some charged in poker game pay fine
Nearly 20 people charged in a high-stakes poker game have pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of unlawful gaming and were fined. Authorities agreed to dismiss additional counts against the 19 players in exchange for the guilty plea, The (Charleston) Post and Courier reports. Most have paid fines between $154 and $257.
