The first ever major poker tour to run in Latin America is right around the corner, and is being brought to players by online poker room Poker Stars. Poker Stars has experience with running poker tours, as they are behind the European Poker Tour as well as plenty of online offerings. - READ - To determine whether an opponent has a good, medium or bad hand by observing his personal behavior. An inexact science.
- BLANK - Used in describing stud and Hold'em games. Refers to a dealt card that does not offer any value; stating the actual rank and suit would detract from a description of the hand. "The last card was a blank.".
- ONE-EYED - The jack of hearts, jack of spades or king of diamonds. So named because the characters are drawn in profile, thus showing only one eye.
- POCKET ROCKETS - In Hold'em, a pair of aces for hole cards.
- GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
- STRAIGHT - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence but not in suit.
