Duplicate Poker Announces Championship
Billed as the only perfectly legal form of online poker, Duplicate Poker.com has announced the launch of the very first Duplicate Poker World Championship. This event will seek to draw in players in the unique format, which takes as much randomness and luck as possible out of the game to reduce the appearance of gambling. Duplicate Poker deals the same cards to players at different tables, so that the outcome is based on the skill with which the cards are played…

Casino poker language:
- SIXTH STREET - The sixth card dealt in 7-card stud.
- RACE - In tournaments it is sometimes convenient to remove all lower-denomination chips from play, as the remaining players' stacks tend to grow. Small chips are converted to larger chips and any odd chips are "raced off" in the following way: each player with odd chips places them in front of his stack and is dealt one card for each chip. Highest card (rank and suit) takes all the small chips and converts them to higher-denomination chips.
- PASS - Opposite of bet. To check, if checked to. To fold, if bet to.
- AMERICAN AIRLINES - In Hold'em, a pair of Aces in the hole. Better known (at least in rec.gambling) as POCKET ROCKETS.
- DEALER'S CHOICE - In home games, a rule that permits the dealer to name which poker game to be played that hand. Often limited to selecting from a list provided.
- LITTLE SLICK - In Hold'em, hole cards of A-2, suited or not.
