Qualify for UK National Poker Championships

Online qualifiers for the UK National Poker Championships are now underway, according to a recent announcement from online poker room Bet365 Poker. The championships, which are run by Genting Stanley Casinos, will run in the Circus Casino in Manchester, Mint Casino in Southend, and the Circus Casino Nottingham as well.   • BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
  • UNDERDOG - Before all the cards are dealt, a hand that does not figure to be the winner. Ant: FAVORITE.
  • GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
  • TOKE - Gambling term for "tip", as in "Toke the cocktail waitress". Comes from the term "Token of appreciation".
  • FORCED BET - In some stud games a player may be required to make a bet to start the action on the first card. This is similar conceptually to blinds and antes, but in this case is dependent on the cards shown rather than player position. Usually the weakest hand is forced to bet.
  • FLOP GAME - Any of a number of poker games where a flop is dealt.
