WSOP Circuit in the Big Easy in May

The Big Easy will see the World Series of Poker Circuit hit their Harrah’s casino for the fourth year this May, as poker fans and poker pros descend on Harrah’s New Orleans for a chance at big money prizes and a seat to the 2008 World Series of Poker. This will be the last stop on the Circuit tour, a popular outreach of the WSOP that brings that brand to casinos around the country. Poker glossary:

• PAT - Holding or being dealt a pat hand. "I'm pat" would mean "I don't want to draw any cards.
• LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
• WALK - A pot won by the last blind when no one opens.
• DRAW - [1] A class of poker games characterized by players being dealt 5 cards face-down and later having the opportunity to replace some of the original 5. "Draw poker" and "Five-card draw" are examples of usage. [2] In stud and Hold'em games, the set of cards that will be dealt later can be collectively called "the draw". [3] To discard some number of cards and have dealt an equal number of replacements.
• SPLIT [THE POT] - To split the pot between two or more players. Related term: QUARTER.
• BUNNY - An eight. So named because one can easily draw "rabbit ears" above the numeral 8, "paws" in the middle and "feet" at the bottom. (Do this only at home, and not on cards that will be used for play.)
