Convenience store raid turns up poker machines
OHIOVILLE Three people have been charged after a raid at an Ohioville convenience store earlier this month in which state police said they found 13 illegal poker machines.

Poker lexicon:
- LOCK - A hand that cannot be beat under any circumstances. Also: NUTS.
- BUTTON CHARGE - A periodic fee paid by whoever is the button, perhaps every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Constitutes part or all of the HOUSE CUT.
- POSSIBLE [STRAIGHT/FLUSH] - Up cards that quite possibly could lead to a straight and/or a flush.
- STACKED [DECK] - A deck that has been arranged to give one player a huge advantage. Also: RIGGED.
- RAGS - Board cards that are small, not suited and not in sequence, e.g., 9-5-2. When "rags flop", it is unlikely that anyone has a good hand, except possibly the big blind in an unraised pot.
- PASSED OUT. - A hand in which nobody opens. What happens next is a function of the game being played.
