Borgata Winter Open Has Record Numbers
Whoever thinks that poker is on the decline only has to look at the players signing up to play in the Borgata Winter Open to see they are mistaken. The event, taking place in Atlantic City, NJ, often called the “Las Vegas of the East Coast”, put up record numbers with 482 players signing up to play in event number five, a $1,500 buy in tourney with over $2.2 million in the accumulated prize pool. Hevad “Rainkhan” Khan was on hand amid local pros, such as New Jersey’s Robert “Action Bob” Hwang.
