New Store for VC Poker
A new loyalty point redemption store will be created for VC Poker according to a recent announcement and thanks to a deal with Initial Poker. The software platform of Initial Poker was developed for the gaming industry, and has as a strength a seamless blend of player database and e-commerce tools. Many gifts that take players from chips and cards up through Plasma TV’s are going to be available from a dedicated warehouse in Europe, and can be redeemed through VC Poker by those players who have earned enough loyalty points.

Poker glossary:
- CALLER - One who calls. Sometimes used collectively, as in "3 callers".
- RACE - In tournaments it is sometimes convenient to remove all lower-denomination chips from play, as the remaining players' stacks tend to grow. Small chips are converted to larger chips and any odd chips are "raced off" in the following way: each player with odd chips places them in front of his stack and is dealt one card for each chip. Highest card (rank and suit) takes all the small chips and converts them to higher-denomination chips.
- QUALIFIER - A minimum standard that a hand must meet in order to win. Usually applied to the lowball side of a high-low split pot.
- BLANK - Used in describing stud and Hold'em games. Refers to a dealt card that does not offer any value; stating the actual rank and suit would detract from a description of the hand. "The last card was a blank.".
- SHORT-STACKED - Playing with a only a small amount of money, thus limiting one's risk and reward.
- LOOSE - Playing more hands than the norm. Antonym: TIGHT.
