One of the world’s largest online poker rooms recently set the record for number of cash ring game players seated at the tables, a good sign as some see it that the online poker industry is here to stay. The poker room in question is Poker Stars and it did not seem to be suffering much from the many hits the industry has taken over the last year, including the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act in the USA that caused many poker rooms to shut down or ban US players.
