Darts Champ Tries Poker
The man they call the “greatest darts player of all time” says he can’t play darts at this level forever, and so has his eye on becoming a poker champ. Phil Taylor, who is well known for his prowess at tossing darts, shocked the poker community by coming in second at the 888.com Pacific Poker Open a few years back, padding his bank account with £179,000. Now 47, Taylor has expressed interest in playing in the main event of the World Series of Poker, the $10k main event considered by many to be the true test of poker power.
