Russell Crowe Dumps Poker Machines
Australian actor Russell Crowe has come out against poker machines in a club where he is part owner and successfully lobbied for the machines’ recent removal. Together with business partner Peter Holmes a Court, Crowe looked for 60 poker machines to disappear from the South Sydney League Club in Redfern, Sydney. In response to why he cared, Crowe said he was “not moralizing” about poker, but thought that the low income area needed fewer poker machines as opposed to more poker machines…

- PROP - Also PROPOSITION PLAYER. An employee of the gaming establishment whose primary purpose is to keep enough players at a table to prevent breaking up the game for lack of players.
