The Canadian Affiliate Management Company, (CanAffco.com), is pleased to announce the official launch of the new CanAffco Affiliate Poker Tour, with the first event being held online at PrivyPoker.com, with $2,000 added. The online search engine Lycos recently published their list of top search terms for 2007, and poker was at the very top. The list, which included the ubiquitous mentions of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, outlined the top 50 terms searched for on the Lycros site from January 1st, 2007 through December 1st, 2007. Poker tops the list for the second year in a row, beating out “Myspace” as the second most searched for term, followed by Britney Spears in third and Paris Hilton in fourth…
The UK newspaper group Associated Newspapers recently struck a deal with a Gibraltar-based white label games provider in order to put out an online poker site. The site, along with an online bingo operation, will be part of the Metro.co.uk website. Metro, which was founded in 1999, reaches 13 British cities with its circulation and is the fourth largest newspaper in the UK…
The world’s richest Sit n Go tournament has finaly been completed, after a year of trying to get enough people to play. Players had to make three back to back final table finishes in order to qualify for Tournament Titan on Titan Poker, and after a month or two stuck at 18 (20 needed to play), the online poker room made some changes.
