Poker player widely considered the best
David “Chip” Reese, a three-time World Series of Poker champion who was widely considered the best all-around poker player in the world, has died. He was 56.

Poker dictionary:
- POSSIBLE [STRAIGHT/FLUSH] - Up cards that quite possibly could lead to a straight and/or a flush.
- RERAISE - To raise after an opponent has raised.
- BLANK - Used in describing stud and Hold'em games. Refers to a dealt card that does not offer any value; stating the actual rank and suit would detract from a description of the hand. "The last card was a blank.".
- ON TILT - Playing worse (usually, more aggressively) than usual because a player has become emotionally upset.
- STAND OFF - To call a raise. "Opener raises, I stand off".
- HIT - To make a hand or catch a card or cards that improves one's hand. "I hit a gut-shot draw on the river."
