Poker legend dies
LAS VEGAS - David ‘’Chip'’ Reese, a card star who won one of the biggest cash games in the world and three World Series of Poker championships, has died. He was 56.

Poker lingo:
- THIRD STREET - In Stud, the third card dealt to each player.
- QUARTER - [1] Twenty-five dollars, often symbolized by a green casino chip. [2] To divide half a pot between two tying hands. In split pot games, a player who "ties" another player for their half of the pot is said to be "quartered". One might say "I didn't bet my A-2 because I figured I'd get quartered".
- TAP - In no-limit games, to wager all of one's money in one bet.
- FLUSH - A poker hand consisting of five cards all one suit.
- OVERCALL - To call a bet after one or more players already called.
- LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
