Poker Helps Cartwright Get Happy
Nancy Cartwright is once again hosting a charity poker tournament, and she wants people to get happy. Cartwright, who voices the character of Bart on the long running animated show The Simpsons, is a co-founder of Happy House, which is the charity that will benefit form the event, which is to take place at her home on December 15th. The mission of Happy House is to build safer communities by building happy families…

Poker argot:
- RUSH - A winning streak. Also "ON A RUSH".
- OPENERS - Cards in a hand that qualify a player to open the betting.
- CUT - To break the deck into 2 stacks of at least 5 cards each. Usually performed by the player to the dealer's right to insure that the the deck is not stacked.
- STACKED [DECK] - A deck that has been arranged to give one player a huge advantage. Also: RIGGED.
- TAPPED [OUT] - Out of money. Can refer to a player running out of money in the course of a hand, thus still active for the main pot; or can refer to a player who has lost his bankroll and can no longer play.
- COMMUNITY CARDS - Cards that are available for every player to use in making a hand. Usually dealt face up somewhere in the middle of the table.
