FAMILY POT - A pot where all of the players at the table are participating, even after each has had an opportunity to act.
STAKE - The amount of a player's BUY-IN, or the amount of money they are willing to play with in a given session. Compare: BANKROLL.
LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
PROP - Also PROPOSITION PLAYER. An employee of the gaming establishment whose primary purpose is to keep enough players at a table to prevent breaking up the game for lack of players.
