Poker machine removal to ‘impact profit’
Tattersall’s has warned the removal of poker machines in accordance with new government regulations will likely have an impact on profit this financial year.

Poker lingo:
- MANIAC - A player who bets, raises and reraises without regard to the quality of his hand. Most often found in flop games.
- DEAD MONEY - Money contributed to the pot by players who have folded.
- FULL OF - Describes a full house. "Fives full of queens" is 5-5-5-Q-Q.
- FOURTH STREET - In stud poker, the fourth card dealt to each player. Sometimes used to refer to the fourth community card dealt in Hold'em, although the more common term for this is TURN (q.v.).
- LITTLE SLICK - In Hold'em, hole cards of A-2, suited or not.
- HOUSE RULE - Rules and interpretations (e.g., use of wild cards, or rules on having to show beaten hands) that are specific to an establishment or even tables within the establishment.
