Online Poker Room Nears 3D Launch
Much like the first online poker room to utilize 3D, PKR.com, online poker room Ladbrokes Poker will soon be offering a blended poker and video game experience, thanks to their upcoming 3D virtual reality poker. One thing that Labrokes Poker will offer that offers a more “real” experience is an option for players to use the 3D technology to create custom avatars, and then watch those avatars interact with other players during the course of a game. The end result is a more “real” poker like experience combined with the convenience of playing the game online.

Poker slang:
- TIGHT - [1] A style of play that entails playing fewer hands than average. Antonym: LOOSE. [2] A FULL HOUSE.
- COMMUNITY CARDS - Cards that are available for every player to use in making a hand. Usually dealt face up somewhere in the middle of the table.
- LATE POSITION - For a particular betting round, a player who does not have to act until most of the other players have acted.
- LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
- FAMILY POT - A pot where all of the players at the table are participating, even after each has had an opportunity to act.
- TAP - In no-limit games, to wager all of one's money in one bet.
