Aruba Classic Poker Tourney on Travel Show
The Aruba Classic Poker Tournament will be featured during a one hour TV special where host Shane O takes viewers on a tour of Aruba. He will take part in the event along with Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian (known for his love of Texas Holdem poker), who will make a special guest appearance on “Your Travel Guide: Aruba Poker Adventure”, which is the name of the show. Poker terminology:
- SMALL BLIND - In games with two blinds the first blind is the SMALL BLIND because it is usually one-half (or less) the second or large blind.
- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- ROYAL FLUSH - An ace-high straight flush, the best possible hand in regular poker.
- FIXED LIMIT - A betting structure where the amount of each bet is a specific fixed quantity. Usually specified as A-B, where A is the amount to bet in the first few betting rounds and B (larger than A) is the amount bet in the later rounds. Related terms: FLAT LIMIT, NO LIMIT, POT LIMIT, SPREAD LIMIT.
- DECLARE - In high/low games, declaring one's hand as high or low or both ways (usually done with chips in hand). Usually played in home games; casinos tend to play CARDS SPEAK.
- STACKED [DECK] - A deck that has been arranged to give one player a huge advantage. Also: RIGGED.
