Looking for a place to show off your skills at poker in a more competitive setting than a night out with the guys? The Catskeller, located on the bottom floor of Tangeman University Center, is set to hold a Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.
In duplicate poker each tournament table is dealt exactly the same cards, and while you are playing against the people at your table, you are also playing against the person sitting in the same seat as you at every other table. Your ability to win more than someone else with the same hand is what counts. The idea is to eliminate the luck factor.
