Wall Street Looks at Poker Stocks
This week the Poker Players Alliance is petitioning Capitol Hill yet again in hopes of lifting the UIGEA restrictions on online poker play, and Wall Street is examining what it would be like if that were to take place in terms of stock value. In other countries where the ban isn’t in place and poker companies trade stock publicly, they tend to do rather well, and they would do even better if the US ban was repealed. According to recent reports, the financial wizards of Wall Street are keeping a weather eye out on the progress the PPA makes in Washington.
