Poker winnings to be reported to IRS
The U.S. government said on Friday that casinos and other poker tournament sponsors will have to start reporting most players’ winnings to the Internal Revenue Service starting next year.

Useful poker information:
- BACK DOOR - Applies to a hand that was made in the last card or two, specifically not a hand the player was originally planning on having. Most often applied to straights and flushes.
- CRYING CALL - A call made with little chance of ultimately winning, but marginally better than an immediate fold.
- CALLER - One who calls. Sometimes used collectively, as in "3 callers".
- MIDDLE POSITION - Betting positions approximately halfway around the table from the first player to act.
- FREE CARD - A card dealt after all players checked in a betting round.
- RAINBOW - In flop games, a flop in which no two cards are of the same suit. "The flop was A 9 7 rainbow."
