Online poker room Mansion.com has announced that they will now be affiliated with the online poker network known as Ongame, a move that will open up more players to the Mansion customer base. Gibraltar licensed Mansion partnering with Sweden’s Ongame is not an unusual move, as online poker rooms often switch networks to seek out the best advantages. Poker lingo:
- DOOR [CARD] - A player's first upcard in stud games.
- FIXED LIMIT - A betting structure where the amount of each bet is a specific fixed quantity. Usually specified as A-B, where A is the amount to bet in the first few betting rounds and B (larger than A) is the amount bet in the later rounds. - OVERPAIR - In Hold'em, a pair in the hole that is larger than any community card on the board.
- ROLLED UP - In seven-card stud, being dealt three of a kind in the first three cards.
