The grassroots organization known as the Poker Players Alliance have come out with the recent press release detailing the new information on the UIGEA, and is calling on members to examine the statements and make their own voices heard. The PPA is naturally behind the idea that poker is a game of skill, and as such should not be targeted by the US Government as gambling. The state of online poker in the US is still unknown, but it is apparent that both sides of the issue are preparing to do battle.
