RedKings Offers Satellites to Live Poker Events
Set to take place in December, EPT Prague is the first live final to be promoted by RedKings Poker in their new schedule of tournaments. The Scandinavian Open will be next followed by Monte Carlo in April 2008, which boasts an increased prize pool Grand Tournament of $200,000.
With buy ins starting at just $1.00, EPT satellites begin with 10 seater SnG’s followed by Stage 1 qualifiers players are allowed to buy into at any time. These stages consist of heads up events as well as 4, 10 and 20 seater SnG’s.
A company’s spokesman said that this new structure was created so that a player getting through the Stages would only have to outplay 15 opponents in order to claim a package worth over $10,000 that includes a ticket to the live final as well as accommodation and spending money…
