Online Poker In Italy - Skill or Gamble?
An announcement is forthcoming from the Italian Government about whether or not online poker is a game of skill or luck, a question that has been getting a lot of play in many governments and court rooms around the world in recent years. The question often is important to the online poker industry, due to many laws that ban gambling but would allow a game of skill. In Italy the general consensus always seemed to be against online gambling, but recent developments suggest that a trend toward legalizing and regulating online gambling is occurring, and that this could include online poker.
