Woman arrested for running poker games
A Bettendorf woman, a former Isle of Capri employee, was arrested Monday for running illegal poker games out of her home while 10 others were cited for playing in the games.

Poker slang:
- CRYING CALL - A call made with little chance of ultimately winning, but marginally better than an immediate fold.
- FILL - To draw a card that makes a five-card hand (straight, flush, full house, straight flush).
- TOKE - Gambling term for "tip", as in "Toke the cocktail waitress". Comes from the term "Token of appreciation".
- POCKET PAIR - Generic Hold'em term for 2 hole cards of the same rank.
- GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
- TOURNAMENT - A highly structured game involving potentially dozens of tables where all participants pay an entry fee and obtain a fixed number of chips. Once a tournament has started, additional players may not enter. As the game progresses players bust out and are eliminated until only one winner remains.
