Poker Room Raises Questions Over State Gambling Laws
Little Rock - A Little Rock poker establishment is postponing its opening after the city said the venue would go against Arkansas gambling laws. The National Poker Challenge has already set up shop in Little Rock, and was set to hold its first poker tournament last weekend.

- COMPUTER HAND - Texas Hold'em hole cards of Q-7 offsuit. More generically, any hand that computer analysis/simulation determines is positive but turns out to be difficult to play in practice.
- RAGS - Board cards that are small, not suited and not in sequence, e.g., 9-5-2. When "rags flop", it is unlikely that anyone has a good hand, except possibly the big blind in an unraised pot.
- ON TILT - Playing worse (usually, more aggressively) than usual because a player has become emotionally upset.
- STUD - Any of several poker games in which some of each players' cards are exposed.
- SIXTH STREET - The sixth card dealt in 7-card stud.
- SHOWDOWN - The point at the end of the hand where all active players reveal their cards and the pot is awarded to the winner(s).
