Harvard Law Profs Backing Poker as Educational Tool in Schools, Universities
Harvard Law School professor Charles Nesson will announce an international effort to organize “poker strategic thinking societies” at universities and secondary schools around the world that will use poker as an educational tool to teach everything from basic life skills to war games at military colleges.

Poker glossary:
- WHITE BLACKBIRD - A hand so astonishingly rare as to be unworthy of the opponents' consideration, e.g., being dealt a pat royal flush in 5-card draw.
- ONE-EYED - The jack of hearts, jack of spades or king of diamonds. So named because the characters are drawn in profile, thus showing only one eye.
- BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
- ON TILT - Playing worse (usually, more aggressively) than usual because a player has become emotionally upset.
- RAINBOW - In flop games, a flop in which no two cards are of the same suit. "The flop was A 9 7 rainbow."
- LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
