3 county persons indicted in video poker case
SHELBY A several years-long federal video poker investigation spanning several states led to the indictments Friday of three Cleveland County residents.

Poker terminology:
- FAMILY POT - A pot where all of the players at the table are participating, even after each has had an opportunity to act.
- OPEN - Make the first bet in a hand, especially in draw poker.
- CUT - To break the deck into 2 stacks of at least 5 cards each. Usually performed by the player to the dealer's right to insure that the the deck is not stacked.
- FLOP - [1] In Hold'em, the first three community cards, dealt simultaneously. [2] To deal a flop, or to make a hand on a flop. "I flopped trips".
- TAPPED [OUT] - Out of money. Can refer to a player running out of money in the course of a hand, thus still active for the main pot; or can refer to a player who has lost his bankroll and can no longer play.
- POCKET ROCKETS - In Hold'em, a pair of aces for hole cards.
