Nguyen knocked out of World Series of Poker as final table nears
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Scotty Nguyen, “The Prince of Poker,” ended his remarkable run through the World Series of Poker’s main event with class early Monday, busting out two places short of the final table and ending hopes for a repeat winner for the first time in a decade.

Poker lexicon:
- ROLLED UP - In seven-card stud, being dealt three of a kind in the first three cards.
- SMALL BLIND - In games with two blinds the first blind is the SMALL BLIND because it is usually one-half (or less) the second or large blind.
- BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
- PASS - Opposite of bet. To check, if checked to. To fold, if bet to.
- PROP - Also PROPOSITION PLAYER. An employee of the gaming establishment whose primary purpose is to keep enough players at a table to prevent breaking up the game for lack of players. Unlike SHILLs "props" make a small hourly wage but play with their own money, winning or losing based on their skill.
- WHEEL - A-2-3-4-5. Usually discussed in the context of lowball where it is the best possible hand. Can also refer to a 5-high straight in high games. Also: BICYCLE.
