World Series of Poker field still massive despite new law
The World Series of Poker’s 14-year record run in the main event ended Monday, but the world’s largest poker tournament also got a little bigger this year. The final group of 1,789 players set this year’s main event at 6,358 players, nearly a 28% drop from last year’s record of 8,773. It’s also the first decrease in the main event field since 1992.
