Starting Sunday, poker players are able to go all in at casinos and card rooms throughout Florida, thanks to a new law that went into effect as of July 1st.

RALEIGH, N.C. Although North Carolina’s 14-year experiment with video poker officially ended over the weekend, that doesn’t mean every machine in the state has gone dark.

 

Florida has upped the ante for Florida’s poker players. A new state law that went into effect Sunday raises the maximum allowed bet from $2 to $5 on tables and allows for no limit Texas Hold’em games with a maximum required buy-in of $100 at state license gaming rooms.
