Poker run for Muscular Dystrophy held
Motorcycle riders from all over the country ride into West Monroe today to get ready for tomorrow’s Muscular Dystrophy Association Poker Run. Many riders arrived at Cheniere Lake Park today to set up camp. Some of the riders have been camping for days in anticipation of the event.

Poker lexicon:
- MAIN POT - The main pot, as related to one or more side pots, when there are one or more all-in player(s). The main pot is the one in which all active players participate.
- BLANK - Used in describing stud and Hold'em games. Refers to a dealt card that does not offer any value; stating the actual rank and suit would detract from a description of the hand. "The last card was a blank.".
- PASS - Opposite of bet. To check, if checked to. To fold, if bet to.
- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- POCKET PAIR - Generic Hold'em term for 2 hole cards of the same rank.
- TAPPED [OUT] - Out of money. Can refer to a player running out of money in the course of a hand, thus still active for the main pot; or can refer to a player who has lost his bankroll and can no longer play.
