Playing poker: Pros know how to play with fire
Playing 5-6 under the gun, suited or otherwise, is not necessarily the recommended play. But wild pro Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi has his own book, such as when playing the $25,000-buy-in World Poker Tour Championship at Las Vegas’ Bellagio in 2006 when the blinds were only $50-$100.

Useful poker terms:
- PASSED OUT. - A hand in which nobody opens. What happens next is a function of the game being played.
- KICKER - In hands containing pairs and trips, the highest card not matched. In draw games, sometimes a card kept for deception purposes.
- BUNNY - An eight. So named because one can easily draw "rabbit ears" above the numeral 8, "paws" in the middle and "feet" at the bottom. (Do this only at home, and not on cards that will be used for play.)
- ROYAL FLUSH - An ace-high straight flush, the best possible hand in regular poker.
- TOURNAMENT - A highly structured game involving potentially dozens of tables where all participants pay an entry fee and obtain a fixed number of chips. Once a tournament has started, additional players may not enter. As the game progresses players bust out and are eliminated until only one winner remains.
- RAINBOW - In flop games, a flop in which no two cards are of the same suit. "The flop was A 9 7 rainbow."
