Panel OKs bill that allows poker
Bars and restaurants would be able to hold Texas Hold Em poker tournaments under legislation that cleared a House committee Monday. However, Gov. Kathleen Blanco is opposed to House Bill 484, saying the measure would legalize Texas Hold Em across the state.
