World Poker Tour announces Season VI schedule
WPT Enterprises, Inc. today announced its official tournament schedule for Season VI of its highly popular TV show, the World Poker Tour (WPT). The schedule includes 19 regular-season WPT tour stops and the annual ladies-only event, Ladies Night V. Several “WPT specials”–or themed invitation events–will be announced at a later date.

Poker terminology:
- DOOR [CARD] - A player's first upcard in stud games.
- FIRE - To make the first bet in a betting round. Used to emphasize that the player bet when a check was possible, showing strength.
- SIXTH STREET - The sixth card dealt in 7-card stud.
- WHITE BLACKBIRD - A hand so astonishingly rare as to be unworthy of the opponents' consideration, e.g., being dealt a pat royal flush in 5-card draw.
- BUTTON CHARGE - A periodic fee paid by whoever is the button, perhaps every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Constitutes part or all of the HOUSE CUT.
- POSSIBLE [STRAIGHT/FLUSH] - Up cards that quite possibly could lead to a straight and/or a flush.
