An Indiana State Police officer was placed on desk duty Wednesday after he was cited in connection with a raid on a Northeastside poker club.

- POCKET ROCKETS - In Hold'em, a pair of aces for hole cards.
- CHECK RAISE - To check initially, then raise a bet made later on in the same betting round. Frequently a sign of strength, but may be a bluff.
- FOUR OF A KIND - A hand containing all four cards of the same rank.
- RUSH - A winning streak. Also "ON A RUSH".
- FACE CARD - A jack, queen or king (a card with a face on it, not joker).
- FILL - To draw a card that makes a five-card hand (straight, flush, full house, straight flush).
