World Poker Challenge starting at Grand Sierra Resort
Season Five of the World Poker Challenge returns to Grand Sierra Resort & Casino starting Thursday, March 8 and continuing through March 28. The event is a favorite of top poker players hoping to win before advancing to play in the World Poker Tour (WPT) finals held in Las Vegas later this year.

Casino poker language:
- GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
- POT - The total amount of money bet so far in a hand.
- FAMILY POT - A pot where all of the players at the table are participating, even after each has had an opportunity to act.
- OPENER - The player who opens the betting, especially in draw poker. A hand may have no openers, in which case it is PASSED OUT, i.e., new hands are dealt.
- WALK - A pot won by the last blind when no one opens.
- BEE No. 92 (TM) - Trade name for the "diamond back" cards frequently used in casino games. Compare: RIDER BACK.
