Put on your skis and your poker face for the Sawtooth Ski Festival
The Sawtooth Ski Club is celebrating its fifth annual Sawtooth Ski Festival and fundraiser March 3-4. Money raised will pay for the grooming of Sawtooth ski trails and equipment, gasoline and supplies.

- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- DRAWING DEAD - A draw in which it is impossible to obtain a winning hand for any of a variety of reasons: an opponent's hand is better than whatever you are drawing to, the card(s) that make your hand are out of play, or (in Hold'em) give an opponent a stronger hand even if it makes yours. Frequently used in the past tense, since one rarely knows it at the time.
- POSITION - One's location in the betting sequence, relative to the players still in the hand. First position is first to act.
- STAND OFF - To call a raise. "Opener raises, I stand off".
- LEAK - To show one's hole cards (often unknowingly).
- HIT - To make a hand or catch a card or cards that improves one's hand. "I hit a gut-shot draw on the river."
