Deal yourself in to Poker Run

Poker, skiing, prizes, fun! Once again, the Snowmass Village Rotary Club is hosting its annual Ski Poker Run, an on-mountain blast that offers a $1,000 cash grand prize. The actual poker game is set for Sunday, Feb. 18, with a more traditional (and indoor) poker game set for Friday, Feb. 23.

Poker glossary:

  • ON TILT - Playing worse (usually, more aggressively) than usual because a player has become emotionally upset.
  • ROYAL FLUSH - An ace-high straight flush, the best possible hand in regular poker.
  • SET - In Hold'em, three of a kind where two of the cards are hole cards.
  • TURN - The fourth community card in Hold'em.
