6 aurora-research rockets to launch from Poker Flat
Scientists from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the University of New Hampshire have experiments ready on the launch rails at Poker Flat Research Range north of Fairbanks, and another scientist is waiting in New Hampshire to launch an additional experiment from Poker Flat.

- STRAIGHT - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence but not in suit.
- GUT SHOT - A draw to an inside straight, as in 2-3-4-6.
- RAIL - A barrier dividing the card playing area from a public area.
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
- ALL-IN - To have all of one's chips in the pot. A player who is all-in cannot be forced out of the pot by more betting, but is only eligible to win that portion of the pot he has contributed to. Generally, a SIDE POT is created each time a player is all-in.
