ATLANTA Georgias PeachCare for Kids funding crisis is like a “high-stakes poker game” in which the chips are taxpayer dollars and childrens health insurance, the No. 2 Republican in the state House of Representatives said Wednesday.

Poker dictionary:
- SPLIT [THE POT] - To split the pot between two or more players. Related term: QUARTER.
- READ - To determine whether an opponent has a good, medium or bad hand by observing his personal behavior. An inexact science.
- BAD GAME - Any game in which you figure to be the loser, because the other players are better than you.
- FISH - A player who loses money. An old saying is "If you can't spot the fish at the table, *you* are the fish.".
- HOLE CARDS - In Stud and Hold'em, the face-down cards dealt to each player.
- WHITE BLACKBIRD - A hand so astonishingly rare as to be unworthy of the opponents' consideration, e.g., being dealt a pat royal flush in 5-card draw.
