GUN RAP STAR TELLS OF POKER ATTACK
ACTOR Ryan O’Neal yesterday claimed he fired a gun to stop his son hitting him with a poker. The Love Story star was arrested at his Malibu home on Saturday night after returning with friends from celebrating former girlfriend Farrah Fawcett’s 60th birthday.

Poker dictionary:
- DOUBLE BELLY BUSTER - A two-way inside straight. E.g., 3-5-6-7-9.
- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- IMPLIED ODDS - A refinement to POT ODDS which includes money not yet in the pot. Considers the potential extra bets and winnings made when a player forms a very good hand.
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
- MITES AND LICE - A hand consisting of two pair, threes over twos.
- GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
