Microsoft Plus Poker Equals Vista
The much anticipated new operating system from Microsoft has shown that it is a part of the times by adding No Limit Texas Holdem poker to its basic offerings. When the new OS, named Vista, was launched, Microsoft founder Bill Gates was heard saying that it will “even have a Holdem [poker] game.” Some have wondered if this move would somehow be a precursor to Microsoft entering into the very hot, very lucrative poker market.

- WALK - A pot won by the last blind when no one opens.
- AMERICAN AIRLINES - In Hold'em, a pair of Aces in the hole. Better known (at least in rec.gambling) as POCKET ROCKETS.
- PAY OFF - Calling a bet with little expectation of winning, unless the opponent is bluffing.
- OPEN - Make the first bet in a hand, especially in draw poker.
- DRAW - [1] A class of poker games characterized by players being dealt 5 cards face-down and later having the opportunity to replace some of the original 5. "Draw poker" and "Five-card draw" are examples of usage. [2] In stud and Hold'em games, the set of cards that will be dealt later can be collectively called "the draw". [3] To discard some number of cards and have dealt an equal number of replacements.
